Check Your Store...

You just don't know what you will find.I happened upon BetterOats at Walmart. Tucked away on the top shelf not in plain view was a little box, and I decided to check it out. There was another flavor available also.

The package has all great ingredients: oats, flax seeds, dried blueberries, minus the "artificial flavoring". However, I bought it and gave it a try, for $1.32/5 packets, it wasn't a huge loss if I didn't like it. I have three kiddos that love oatmeal, so someone was sure to love it.

Upon trying this, I didn't know if I would even like oatmeal, since it had been awhile.for me. So the next morning, I decided to give it a whirl. The packets are really neat. You rip the package and dump out the contents in a microwave bowl. But don't throw it away too quickly, the package doubles as a measuring device for the water, with a water fill line.

Two-minutes and it's done, and let me tell you, it's pretty delicious! I usually add a few more blueberries, or bananas, and eat an orange along with it. Oh, and don't forget about the green tea! It's a perfect breakfast!
